The top bow in the photos is made by Montreal bowmaker Eric Gagne. It has a somewhat softer stick which draws a lovely, warm and large sound. The workmanship on this bow is beautiful - it's a very classy and stylish bow both in the hand and to play. Asking $3000.00
The lower bow is by Lubos Odlas, a contemporary Czech maker. It has a stiffer stick, but responds very consistently and does every type of stroke well and at the appropriate place in the bow. It's a very uncomplicated bow to play. Asking $2500.00
Both bows are in mint condition and are of typical 80-81 gms weight.

...asking $8,500. The 'cello was made in 1978 from very beautiful maple and some excellent spruce. The workmanship is very good from this second generation luthier, and all done in the traditional European hands-on fashion. Cello tone is very even and powerful...quite a lovely 'cello. ...probably pre-1900, with a longer than usual upper bout to bridge length and overall fairly large body. Someone years ago grafted in about a 3/4 sized neck to compensate. It could use peg hole bushing and re-fitting of smaller tuning pegs, or preferably Pegheds, as the existing pegs are just too big to make for easy tuning. Otherwise it's got a lovely buttery warm sound, very pleasant. Asking $4500.
